Android Processor Market Share: Qualcomm Leads, Xiaomi Enters

Ana sayfa / News

The latest Q4 2025 data from AnTuTu has revealed the current landscape of the Android processor market share in China. As expected, Qualcomm continues its reign with a commanding lead, but the report also highlights the surprising entry of a new player, shaking up the established order.

AnTuTu Report on Android Processor Market Share

According to the data, a staggering 71.2% of Android phones in China are powered by Qualcomm processors. This figure means that nearly seven out of every ten Android devices run on a Qualcomm chip. The company’s overwhelming dominance is fueled by its powerful Snapdragon 8, 7, and 6 series processors, which are popular choices for both mid-range and high-end devices.

Qualcomm’s closest competitor, MediaTek, holds a market share of 27.4%. Although significantly behind the leader, MediaTek has shown consistent growth in recent years. Furthermore, the company’s Dimensity 9000 series chips have become a popular alternative for manufacturers seeking a balance between performance and cost.

However, MediaTek’s real success lies in the budget and mid-range phone segments. This is proven by the fact that in AnTuTu’s December 2025 mid-range rankings, 9 out of the top 10 phones used a MediaTek processor, showcasing its firm grip on this part of the market.

Other Market Players and the Xiaomi Surprise

Beyond these two giants, the market narrows considerably. Samsung, with its in-house Exynos processors used in its own Galaxy devices, holds a modest share of only 0.6%. The biggest surprise in the list, however, was Xiaomi, which entered the rankings with a 0.4% market share.

The company’s self-developed XRING O1 processor is currently used in only two models: the Xiaomi 15S Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. Being able to make it onto this list with just two devices highlights Xiaomi’s potential to become a significant player in the processor space in the future.
